Chewy, Yummy, and Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

My youngest daughter and I baked cookies today for a treat that she picked out.

These are the most yummy and soft cookies!

Have a try yourself with the recipe below.

What you need:
3/4 cup unsalted butter 
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp cornstarch (the key to the softness)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 of bag of chocolate chips

1. Soften your butter
2. Mix it with your two types of sugar
3. After the above is mixed well add your vanilla and egg
4. In a separate bowl add your dry ingredients. Mix together with a spoon.
5. Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients. I try to do this a little bit at a time, mixing with a mixer in between. Then mix in your chocolate chips.
6. Make the cookies a small sphere shape
7. Put them on the cookie pan
8. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.

This makes around 24 smaller cookies. We usually double or triple the batch at the farm and freeze some.
